Object Management Group Adds Sam Mancarella as Australian Sales Representative
Needham, MA - December 22, 2016 - The Object Management Group® (OMG®), an international, open membership, not-for-profit technology standards consortium, today announced the addition of Sam Mancarella as its sales representative for Australia. With 20 years of experience in technology as an Enterprise Architect at ASC Pty Ltd, CTO at Sparx Systems and Founder of ModelFoundry, Mr. Mancarella is responsible for recruiting and developing memberships and sponsorships for the OMG in the region.
Under terms of his contract, Mr. Mancarella is also in charge of enrolling new members and sponsors for OMG-managed programs including the Industrial Internet Consortium®, an open membership organization that focuses on enabling technologies of the Industrial Internet; Cloud Standards Customer Council™, an end user advocacy group dedicated to accelerating cloud's successful adoption; and the Consortium for Information & Software Quality ™, an IT industry leadership group committed to introducing computable metrics standards for measuring software quality and size.
"Sam has been keenly involved in OMG events since 2005. He has served on the OMG Architecture Board and has vast experience in several OMG Task Forces such as DDS™, UML®, BPMN™, UPDM™ and SysML®. He also continues his involvement as an active OMG member. Sam is a welcome addition to the team because of his enthusiasm and expertise in technology standards and testbeds.
